Communities celebrate the end of another harvest season in North Dakota
North Dakotans don't need calendars to know that the seasons are changing and fall is here. There are others ways to tell: days are cooler and shorter and leaves are falling.
For decades communities held festivals to celebrate the end of the harvest, a tradition that carries on to this day in towns across North Dakota. Maybe it's a celebration on main street, or a pumpkin patch or arts and craft show. There are Oktoberfests, pumpkinfests and arts and crafts fairs to also pick from. Get out and enjoy the changing colors and festivals. Click here for fall fairs and activities in North Dakota.
